The Hero's Legend - TFG Project

The Hero's Legend is a 2D single-player platformer with a "hack and slash" combat style and a gacha system for acquiring equipment. Developed in Unity for my Final Degree Project (TFG), the game combines classic platforming with RPG mechanics, including inventory management, equipment upgrades, stat progression, and randomized item acquisition.

Set in a gothic fantasy world, players can explore three themed levels (Cemetery, Church, and Swamp), battling enemies, collecting loot, and using crystals in a forge-like gacha system to summon powerful gear of varying rarity.

The game features:

• Fast-paced 2D action combat.

• A full inventory and equipment system.

• A gacha mechanic to obtain weapons and armor with different rarities.

• A save system to preserve player progress.

• An intuitive user interface using high-quality 2D assets and animations.

• Several unique enemies and level environments.

The objective is to strengthen your character by acquiring better equipment, gaining experience through combat, and progressing through increasingly difficult levels. Perfect for players who enjoy loot-driven progression and challenging enemy encounters.

NOTE: The game isn't balanced. The main focus was developing leaving the balancing for the future. 🤣
